Have you ever heard someone use a pronoun when talking about their car, boat or plane? “He’s got some life left in those wings” or “she’s a beauty”. We as humans attach personalities to our machines and make memories together. Whether it is taking a trip together, attending an event to show off or hours of restoration to look new again, we make stories with our machines. As the machine ages, it carries those memories and the stories of those human interactions
Our goal is to share those otherwise lost memories from our vintage sailplanes through flight experiences and personal connections.
Along the way we may share other things and thoughts—our trips and experiences. But as a good friend told us at the beginning of our journey, “Every vacation and conversation will come back to gliders. It’s always about the gliders and the vintage ones have the best stories to tell”.
